The generic “There was a problem with registration” message for Microsoft training or event sign‑ups is typically a back‑end registration or account block issue that must be fixed by support for that event platform.
For recent Microsoft training events, similar symptoms have been resolved in two ways:
- When the registration system and the event platform (such as ON24) were out of sync, support confirmed the issue and advised re‑registering for a later session after the sync problem was fixed.
- When an account itself was blocked in the registration system (for example, Pearson VUE for certification exams), the only resolution was to contact that platform’s support so they could remove the block.
For the “Security Immersion Event: Into the Breach” error:
- Use the help/support link provided on the event or registration site (often labeled Help, Support, or FAQ) to reach the event platform’s support team and provide the email addresses being used to register and a screenshot of the error.
- If the event is part of a Microsoft training or credentials program, open a ticket with Microsoft training/credentials support so they can check for synchronization or account issues with the event provider.
- After support confirms the issue is fixed, attempt registration again or, if the specific date has passed, register for the next available instance of the same event.
