Rescheduling issues after a name/ID mismatch are typically handled through the exam delivery provider and the Learn profile.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Verify and correct the name in the Learn profile:
      • Go to the Learn profile and ensure the legal name matches exactly what appears on the government-issued ID that will be used at the exam.
      • If there is no legal last name, enter _ in the last name field, as required for exam verification.
    2. Reschedule the exam from the Learn profile:
      • Sign in to the Learn profile.
      • Open the profile menu (photo avatar) and select Profile.
      • Go to CredentialsCertifications.
      • Locate the scheduled exam and select Reschedule.
      • The system will redirect to the exam delivery provider’s site to complete the reschedule.
    3. If an error still occurs when rescheduling:
      • The issue may be on the Pearson VUE side (for example, account or scheduling problems). In that case, contact Pearson VUE support directly for assistance with the reschedule and to check the exam details and candidate ID they have on file.

If the exam was blocked or not allowed due to the name mismatch at check-in, correcting the Learn profile name and then working with Pearson VUE support is required before attempting to reschedule again.
