Reschedule exam As per identity card

Exam rescheduling cannot be done directly here, but it can be managed through the standard Microsoft certification process.

Because there is a name discrepancy between the exam registration and the government ID, the exam should be rescheduled only after the legal name is corrected on the Microsoft Learn profile so it matches the ID used on exam day.

Follow these steps:

1. Update the legal name on the Microsoft Learn profile
   • Go to the Learn profile settings page and update the Legal name so it matches the government ID that will be presented at the test.
   • If an exam is already booked, a message and link to contact Credentials support will be shown so that support can assist with name-related issues.
2. Reschedule the exam from the Learn profile
   • Sign in to the Learn profile.
   • Open the profile menu (photo avatar) and select Profile.
   • Go to Credentials → Certifications.
   • Find the AI-900 exam appointment and select Reschedule.
   • The system will redirect to the exam delivery provider (Pearson VUE) to complete the reschedule.
3. Observe the reschedule and cancellation policy
   • Reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled exam time; otherwise, the exam fee or voucher may be forfeited.
   • If the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the entire exam fee (or voucher) is forfeited.
