Azure for Startups credit verification was auto-rejected within an hour with no reason given

Hi,

I applied for the Azure for Startups credit business verification through the Azure portal. About an hour after submission, it was rejected automatically with no specific reason given.

The portal docs at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/signups/overview say verification can only be submitted once per startup, so I can't retry from the portal. I also tried filing a regular support request, but the Subscription management > Benefits and Offers branch routes to a Pay-As-You-Go signup troubleshooter that doesn't apply, and there's no visible "create support request" exit from that flow.

For context: I'm a US-incorporated software company (Delaware C-corp). My tenant already has active Azure usage in production (OpenAI / Foundry resources), so I'm a real paying customer, not a fraudulent applicant.

Could someone from the Azure for Startups team either reset my verification status so I can resubmit, or tell me what specific check failed so I can correct it on resubmit?

Tenant: teokimstorehaus.onmicrosoft.com Account: ******@storehaus.ai

Thanks.

Business verification for the Azure startup credit offer can only be submitted once per startup, and if the verification is denied, no additional credits can be unlocked through that path.

    The documented behavior is:

    • Verification is required to unlock up to $5,000 in credits after redeeming the initial $1,000.
    • Verification can only be submitted once per startup, so all information must be complete and accurate before submission.
    • If the business cannot be verified, the startup can continue using the initial $1,000 credit but is not eligible for additional credits.

The documentation does not describe a supported way to reset or resubmit verification from the portal once it has been denied, nor does it describe a process to override an auto-rejection. It only states the outcome: continued use of the initial $1,000 credit without access to the additional credits.

For any further assistance beyond what is documented (for example, to review a specific tenant’s case), the supported path is to open an Azure support request. Startup offers include a support plan at no additional cost, and support requests can be created from the Azure portal under Help + support. If the standard “Benefits and Offers” flow does not fit the scenario, a subscription management support request is still the documented escalation channel for startup-credit issues.
