add microsoft outlook 365 to android computer using an xfinity account

To use a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription with Outlook on an Android phone and an iPad and to add to the calendar from those devices, the Microsoft account associated with the subscription must be added to Outlook on each device. When that account is added, its email and calendar will sync, and calendar changes made on the devices will appear on other clients (such as Outlook on Windows) using the same account.

On Android (phone or tablet running Android 16):

1. Install and open the Outlook app.
2. If Outlook is opening for the first time:
   • Select Add Account.
   • Enter the email address that is used for the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription and follow the prompts to sign in and authenticate (including any multi-factor authentication).
3. If Outlook is already in use:
   • Open the Menu and go to Settings.
   • Select Add Account → Add an email account.
   • Enter the same Microsoft 365 Personal email address and complete sign-in.
4. After sign-in, Outlook will sync email and calendar for that Microsoft account. The calendar can then be opened in the Outlook app, and any events created there will sync back to the account.

If an Xfinity email address is also used, it can be added as another email account in Outlook for Android via Add Account → Add an email account. Calendar sync for that Xfinity mailbox depends on what the Xfinity service supports, but the Microsoft 365 calendar will still be available through the Microsoft account.

On iPad:

1. Install Outlook from the App Store.
2. Open Outlook.
3. On first run, choose Add Account, or if Outlook is already configured, go to Settings → Add Account.
4. Sign in with the same Microsoft 365 Personal account used on the Windows computer.
5. Outlook on iPad will then sync email and calendar for that account, and any calendar entries created on the iPad will sync with the same Microsoft 365 calendar used on Android and Windows.

Once the same Microsoft 365 Personal account is added to Outlook on Android, iPad, and Windows, calendar additions and changes made on any of those devices will stay in sync.
