When will I get by Azure Solutions Architect Expert

The Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification requires passing exam AZ-305 and meeting its prerequisite certification requirement.

For this certification:

• AZ-305 is the required exam.
• A prerequisite certification is also required (for example, an Azure Administrator or Developer certification), as indicated in the certification details.
• The expert certification and badge are awarded only when both the required exam and the prerequisite certification conditions are satisfied.

To troubleshoot why the badge is not visible yet:

1. Verify that the correct prerequisite certification is active and fully earned:
   • Go to the Certification Dashboard and check that the prerequisite certification (for example, Azure Administrator Associate via AZ-104) is listed as a certification, not just an exam pass.
   • If the certification requires multiple exams, ensure all required exams are passed.
2. Confirm that AZ-305 is listed as passed and that the Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification appears under Certifications.
3. If the certification still does not appear, follow the “Missing Exams or Certifications” guidance:
   • Confirm that the correct Learn profile is being used and that there are no multiple profiles.
   • If needed, contact Microsoft Credentials Support to investigate missing credentials.

Once the certification is correctly awarded, the badge can be accessed from the Certification Dashboard via the badges section.
