Other features or issues related to Microsoft Partner Center
Professional service offers in Microsoft Marketplace are currently restricted by seller ID location. Professional services must be sold using a US, UK, or Canadian seller ID, and this limitation also affects which markets/regions are available when configuring the offer and plans.
Because professional services can only be sold with a US, UK, or Canadian seller ID, the behavior of seeing only a small set of markets (such as US, Canada, and a limited additional market like Netherlands tied to the customer’s billing account) is expected and is not something that can be expanded beyond what Partner Center exposes. This is a platform restriction rather than a configuration issue in the offer or plan.
To proceed, ensure that:
- The Partner Center account and seller ID being used are US, UK, or Canada based, as required for professional services.
- The private offer is created and extended specifically to the customer’s billing account ID, since professional services can only be sold via private offers and are not broadly discoverable or purchasable on the storefront.
If additional markets beyond those shown in Partner Center are required, this cannot be enabled for professional services until Microsoft expands support beyond the current US/UK/Canada seller ID limitation.
