It has been over a week since the Microsoft outage started April 27th. The issue still hasn't been fixed completely although Microsoft claimed on its website said it's restored to normal". This is NOT true. I am still experiencing issues when try to sign in to my email account on "outlook.com" (website)". It is still giving me the error message" you have tried too many times with incorrect password or account". This is insane! Unbelievable! -see uploaded screenshot20260505_115327000_iOS

No current Outlook.com sign-in lockout related to the April outage is described in the available documentation. The referenced Outlook.com issues (groups access, Gmail delivery, connected accounts, and third‑party account sign-in) are all marked as fixed and do not match the “too many attempts with incorrect password” error.

For a sign-in error that says there have been too many incorrect attempts, the documented guidance is to use the normal Microsoft account recovery and password reset flow, then wait for any temporary security lockout to clear. If that does not work, direct support from Microsoft account support would be required, as there is no additional published workaround in the provided material.
