On Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, a black screen after sign-in usually means the game is having trouble loading content or is hitting an error right after login.

Try these steps on the phone:

    1. Fully close Minecraft and restart the device
      • Close Minecraft from the app switcher so it is not running in the background.
      • Restart the phone and try launching Minecraft again, then sign in.
    2. Check for Minecraft updates
      • Open the app store on the phone.
      • Check if there is an update for Minecraft and install it.
    3. Clear Minecraft data (this can remove local worlds/skins, so back up if needed)
      • Go to the phone’s Settings > Apps > Minecraft.
      • Force stop the app.
      • Clear cache first and try again.
      • If it still shows a black screen, clear storage/data and then sign in again.
    4. Check the Minecraft content log (if using Bedrock with Creator options)
      • In Minecraft settings, go to the Creator menu and enable the Content Log GUI and file logging if available.
      • Try to sign in again; if the game loads far enough, any content errors will appear in the content log GUI.
      • Use the Content Log History button on the profile screen or press Control + H (where supported) to see previous messages.
      • Errors and warnings in this log can show which content (texture packs, behavior packs, etc.) is causing the black screen.
    5. Remove or disable custom packs
      • If any custom resource/behavior packs or marketplace content are active, disable them and try signing in again.

If the game still will not go past the black screen after these steps, collect the content log file from the logs folder for the device (for example, on Android under *root storage location*/games/com.mojang/logs) and share it with Minecraft Support so they can see the exact error.
