Hello.

I ask you to help me log into my Microsoft Azure account.

I already contacted Microsoft operators with this problem by phone several months ago, but they simply redirected me to other operators and ultimately to support Business clients.

I couldn't contact them because I needed to log into an account - which I can't do.Screenshot_2

The error AADSTS5000225 indicates that the Azure tenant tied to the account has been blocked due to inactivity. There are only a few supported ways to regain access, depending on whether the tenant is still within the reactivation window and what level of support is available.

    Use these steps in order:

    1. Try signing in with tenant ID or tenant name
Sometimes the portal sign-in works when the tenant is specified explicitly:
      • or https://portal.azure.com/<yourTenantName>.onmicrosoft.com
    2. If the tenant is newly created and on a free trial, re-enter via the signup flow
For some blocked free tenants, going back through the Azure signup experience with the same Microsoft account can surface an option to continue or upgrade the existing free subscription instead of creating a new one. This is how one user with the same AADSTS5000225 error was able to regain access and then use Azure normally again.
    3. Request tenant reactivation from Microsoft (time‑limited)
Tenants blocked for inactivity can be reactivated only for a limited period:
      • Administrators can request reactivation within 20 days of the tenant entering the inactive state.
      • After 20 days in this state, the tenant is deleted and cannot be recovered.
To request reactivation, the tenant administrator must contact Microsoft support by phone using the global support numbers listed for Azure/Microsoft 365. When contacting support, reference that the tenant is blocked due to inactivity (AADSTS5000225) and that a reactivation request is needed.
    4. If the tenant cannot be reactivated
If support confirms that the tenant is past the reactivation window or otherwise cannot be restored, the only remaining option is to create and use a new tenant. One documented workaround is:
      • Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center (https://entra.microsoft.com/) with the same account.
      • Go to Entra ID → Overview → Manage tenants and create a new tenant. Note its domain name (for example, newtenant.onmicrosoft.com).
      • Then access the Azure portal using that new tenant name in the URL, for example: https://portal.azure.com/newtenant.onmicrosoft.com.
From this new tenant, subscriptions and resources can be created going forward, but data and configuration from the old, deleted tenant cannot be recovered.

If none of the portal sign-in variations work and the tenant is still within the 20‑day inactive window, contacting Microsoft support as the tenant admin is required; self-service alone cannot unblock the tenant.
