Just wondering if this issue with Windows spotlight not downloading images for Lock Screen is a widespread issue. I tried with a new Microsoft account same issue, reinstalled Windows 11 25H2- same issue, tried all methods and resetting spotlight lock screen to no available. 3 devices are all the same. Hopefully this issue gets fixed promptly by Microsoft if it is a bug. Hopefully May 2026 updates will fix this issue.
Anyone else as of 30 April 2026 have issues with Windows spotlight now downloading images for Lock Screen?

2026-04-30T13:42:36.53+00:00 Yes I have installed dynamic theme. Just annoying you can't use normal windows spotlight lock screen. Hopefully spotlight will fix itself.

Even for me on 25H2, Windows Spotlight does not work. Some steps to try here:

I am yet to find a solution for this (surely it is not a wide known issue), but I am using Dynamic theme app to set the Images, which work flawlessly:
