PowerPoint Changing Version of Font any Time I move Text Box

I have just installed Syne font on my Macbook Pro and am using this within PowerPoint. Whenever I edit a textbox or move it around, it converts the font from whatever variant of the Syne font it is currently, to Syne Extrabold.

I have tried embedding the font in the document as well as making the text box so that the font does not scale to it but to no avail.

    Hi @TF526

    I have tested on my side and here is what I noticed:

    First, Syne font is not in the official font list for Office apps. Therefore, it could be due to incompatibility between the font and Office App, specifically PowerPoint.

    Second, I did see the same behavior as yours. However, only Syne Bold is affected, it keeps reverting to Extra Bold.

    Installing each variant of the font individually did not work also, if Extra Bold is not necessary, you can consider remove that style only. After I removed it, my Bold font will stay the same as previous.

    I seem to have solved this by installing each variant of the font individually, rather than using the variable font weight file. Edit: Not fixed
