Grouping lines results in shifting the content all over the slide in PowerPoint for Mac

When grouping lines, whether with other objects or not, the group ends up scattered across the PowerPoint slide. After saving the file and returning to that slide, the grouped content appears jumbled, even though it remains grouped. Is there a reliable way to resolve this issue?

    Hi @Vishal Varshney

Since I’m unable to reproduce this behavior in my environment, it would help if you could share a bit more detail so we can narrow this down:

-Which version of macOS are you currently running?

-Which PowerPoint version and build are installed? (PowerPoint > About PowerPoint)

-Does this happen with all presentations, or only with a specific file? If it’s a specific file, was it originally created on this Mac, or transferred from another device or platform?

-If you create a brand‑new blank presentation and draw a few lines, does grouping them reproduce the issue?

-Has this behavior always occurred, or did it start recently (for example, after an Office or macOS update)?

Please know that while our initial response might not resolve the issue right away, your input is incredibly valuable. With a bit more detail, we’ll work together to find the best solution for you.
