Hello All,

I attended the Microsoft Azure Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals last week, April 16 and 17, 2026.

I also got the post event email, and it says now I am eligible for 50% discount for the exam and it will be applied automatically.

When I try to book the exam, it is not working.

Anyone else had the similar issue?

The discount from Microsoft Virtual Training Day events is not provided as a visible voucher code in the email. It is applied automatically to the Microsoft Learn profile that uses the same email address as the one used to register for the training.

Key points based on similar cases:

    1. Processing time
      • The discount is typically applied around 5 business days after the training day session(s) are completed.
      • If the event was on April 16–17, 2026, wait at least 5 full business days after April 17 before expecting the discount to appear.
    2. Correct account/email
      • The discount is tied to the email address used to register for the event.
      • Ensure the same email is used on the Microsoft Learn profile and when signing in to schedule the exam.
    3. Where the discount appears
      • When scheduling the exam through the normal Pearson VUE flow from the certification page, the discount is automatically applied at the final stage of checkout if it is present on the profile.
      • There may be no separate code shown in the email; instead, look for the reduced price at checkout.
    4. If the discount still does not appear
      • If more than 5 business days have passed since the event and the correct email is being used, contact certification support using the channel indicated for exam/discount issues (for example, via the Microsoft Certification Support or credentials support entry points referenced in similar Q&A threads) so they can check whether the discount was associated with the profile.
