Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook.com
How do I create rules for spam where the Sender doesn't match the email address? None of the options work.
I get hundreds of spam emails for USAWildSeafood, JacuzziBathRemodel, AARP, WarbyParker, TruGreen, LaserAway, debt, lending, tax, timeshare, etc. daily. Thankfully there are cited as spam and go to my spam folder but it is overwhelming! I want them instantly deleted.
(Why they aren't instantly deleted before they reach us users is another question entirely. There should be system rules to stop them.)
I have tried to set up rules with the keywords included in the Sender, Header, Subject, Body, etc, but none of the rules work.
Example email comes from: USAWildSeafood******@sulglad.com.
My options to block USAWildSeafood may be foiled by these issues:
- The randomly generated email addresses do not contain the actual company or keyword in the name. Are the rules looking at the email address, but ignoring the USAWildSeafood part of the Sender?
- The subject lines change all the time, they rarely if ever mention USAWildSeafood.
- The body oftentimes is an image, so again USAWildSeafood isn't seen by the filter.
I would like to delete these from ever reaching me, but can't find a rule that achieves this. Please help. I may have to abandon this email address account entirely as my last resort.
