Other features or issues related to Microsoft Partner Center
To get a deactivated Partner Center Hardware Developer Program account reactivated so driver attestation signing can be used again, the tenant admin needs to work through Partner Center verification and then contact support.
- Confirm that the Partner Center account information and verification are complete:
- Sign in to Partner Center and go to Settings (gear icon) → Account settings → Legal info.
- On the Developer tab, check the Account details and Account status and ensure all required legal and contact information is present and correct.
- If verification is Failed or Rejected, use the Fix now option on the Legal info/Account management page to address the issue and resubmit the required documentation.
- If verification has been pending for more than 3–5 business days, or if the account appears compliant but remains deactivated, open a support request from Partner Center:
- From the Partner Center dashboard, go to the support/help entry point and create a service request for account/verification issues.
- Provide the correlation ID and time from the “Access restricted” page, the affected tenant, and that access is required for the Hardware Developer Program and driver attestation signing.
- If the account was suspended as part of a CSP or Partner program enrollment on the same tenant (for example, due to profile issues or overdue payments), follow the suspension guidance:
- Verify the Partner profile is complete and that the account verification status is not Failed or Rejected.
- If there are billing issues (for CSP scenarios), check Billing in Partner Center, pay any overdue invoices, and then submit a support request to remove the suspension.
Once verification is completed and the account is restored, Hardware Developer Program functionality is re-enabled, including creating hardware submissions and performing driver attestation signing and distribution.
