Use these steps and checks to resolve a missing past exam result:

    1. Confirm when results should appear
      • For most exams, results are available within minutes and appear in the Learn profile within 24 hours.
      • Exams with labs can take about 30 minutes to score, but still should show in the Learn profile within 24 hours.
      • If the exam was a beta exam, results are only released after the beta completes and the exam goes live; this can take several weeks.
    2. Verify the correct Learn account is used
      • Sign in to Microsoft Learn with the same personal Microsoft account used to schedule and take the exam.
      • If multiple Learn profiles or accounts exist (work/school vs personal), sign out and try any other accounts that might have been used when registering the exam.
      • The congratulations email for a passed exam is sent to the Contact Email in the Learn profile; if that email links to a profile without the exam, it may have been taken under a different profile.
    3. Check the Certifications area and Past exams
      • In Microsoft Learn, open the profile menu → Credentials → Certifications.
      • Scroll to the Past exams section and look for the exam.
      • If present, select View details on provider site to open the Pearson VUE dashboard and see the score report.
    4. If the exam and result still do not appear
      • First confirm that the required exam for the certification was actually passed by checking the exam details page for that certification.
      • If the exam should be visible but is missing after 24 hours (and it is not a Certiport-delivered exam or a beta exam still in process), contact Microsoft Credentials Support to investigate and fix account or record-linking issues.
    5. Special cases
      • Exams taken via Certiport are not currently reflected in the Microsoft Learn profile; those results and certificates must be accessed via the Certiport dashboard instead.
      • Some legacy certifications no longer appear in Learn profiles.

If the exam was taken on 4/4/2026 and more than 24 hours have passed, and the correct Learn account has been confirmed, open a support request with Microsoft Credentials Support so they can locate and attach the exam record to the correct profile.
