I've had this problem for a quite a while now and it causes my laptop to restart about two or three times a day. I'll be in the middle of watching a video or it'll just be sat idle and suddenly the screen goes black and it starts back up again. It happens infrequently enough to still be usable in most situations but it's still incredibly irritating.
I checked the Event Viewer and every time it does this there is an Event 41 Kernel-Power error. I've tried everything I can find on the internet to fix this. I've altered the power settings, disabled fast startup, updated BIOS to the latest version, disabled hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling, updated every driver I have, run the memory diagnostic tool (no errors found), ran memtest86 just to be sure (still no errors found), performed DISM and SFC scans with command prompt (neither have ever found anything wrong), checked the temperature to ensure it's not overheating, cleaned the fans anyway just in case, never used overclocking in the first place. I've taken it in to "professionals" to fix and they charged me £75 and took 2 weeks just to do a full system reboot which clearly fixed nothing because literally five minutes after turning it on it experienced another crash. I've also tried to repair it with the Windows 11 Disk Image ISO files multiple times.
It's very frustrating to have everything under the sun tell you that there is no problem when clearly something isn't working properly. I don't consider myself the most tech-savvy person but my efforts to save this thing have certainly taken me on a journey. Still it seems whatever is causing the issue is still beyond my grasp.

Hi, upon checking and analyzing the event logs you have, there is a significant error with Kernel-Power, which means there is an error with the hardware itself. This might happen when the processor is overheating, getting low power from the motherboard, or in the power supply. In this case, I recommend updating your BIOS, and if the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware-related issues.

Have the same problem now for a few weeks. tested everything I could on my HP but it still occurs and seems to occurs around 4:30 in the afternoon central time. Does not make any difference what I am working on trivial or serious use of desktop. Also may have just started the system a few minutes ago or have been running the system for 6 or 8 hours.

Hey! I found this post by pure coincidence, my computer has been doing the same exact thing, ever since around the same exact time yours has been, April 15th. Did you find a fix for this or are you still dealing with it?
