"Keep Edge window open when you close the last tab" to "Enabled"，it does not work properly

There is a bug in Edge browser. I have set "Keep Edge window open when you close the last tab" to "Enabled" in the Appearance settings, but when I press the shortcut “Ctrl+W”, the browser still closes instead of keeping the last tab open.

The last tab can't be a default new tab, in case didn't realize (like if went home first).

Hi,

This has already been reported in this thread. You can refer to my reply there for details and a possible workaround. I also recommend submitting a report by pressing Alt + Shift + I so it can be addressed in a future update.
