Other features or issues related to Microsoft Partner Center
The rejected verification status is blocking access to Hardware submissions. To restore the Hardware submission tab and functionality, the verification issue must be resolved in Partner Center.
Take these steps:
- Open the verification summary
- Sign in to Partner Center.
- Go to Settings (gear icon) > Account settings > Legal info.
- In Legal business profile, select View verification summary or open the Hardware/Developer tab if present.
- Confirm that Verification status shows Rejected with the “Pending Partner Action” note.
- Use the Fix/Resolve action to appeal
- If a Resolve or Fix now button is shown, select it. This opens the Account Verification pane.
- Review the rejection reason shown there.
- From Select document type to upload, choose an appropriate document that proves the company’s legal name and address exactly as in your registration (for example, government registry record, utility bill, bank letter, tax filing, or DUNS/other external registry entry).
- In Enter your comment, explain clearly that Hardware Center access is blocked, and that the documents match the legal registration.
- Select Upload to submit the appeal.
- Ensure legal profile data matches official records
- Still under Account settings | Legal Info, verify that the Legal business profile company name and address have no spelling errors or abbreviations and match your formal business registration and any external databases (for example, Dun & Bradstreet/DUNS, state registry).
- If needed and allowed, correct the legal profile so it matches your official registration exactly, then re‑submit supporting documents via the appeal flow.
- Wait for appeal review and monitor status
- During appeal review, the status shows Pending.
- Verification usually takes 3–5 business days, but appeal review time can vary.
- Check status periodically at Account settings | Legal Info.
- If verification remains rejected or no Fix button appears
- If identity verification is Rejected and no Fix now button is available, the account is effectively suspended for that program and no further self‑service action is possible.
- In that case, go to your Partner profile and use the support channel there to open a support ticket, referencing the rejection message and the “Pending Partner Action” date, and attach your legal proof documents.
Once the verification status changes to Authorized/Accepted, Hardware submission functionality in Partner Center should become available again.
