For live, lab-based Microsoft sessions there are two different systems involved, and each has its own way of handling access and invitations.

    1. If this is an Applied Skills assessment lab or certification exam lab
    • Access is not managed from the regular Microsoft 365/Teams calendar.
    • You join and work entirely inside the lab environment provided for the assessment.
    • After launch, instructions and any “emails” (including task details) are shown inside the lab UI itself:
      • Open the lab.
      • Use the Instructions pane on the right.
      • Select Open Emails in that pane to see all lab-related messages and requirements.
    • Work cannot be saved and resumed later; once the lab is closed, scoring starts and it cannot be re-opened.

In this scenario, there is no separate calendar invite to resend from a portal; access is through the assessment provider (exam scheduler / certification dashboard), not from Microsoft Teams.

    1. If this is an Azure Lab Services–based training lab
    • The instructor (lab creator) must:
      1. Add participants to the lab (by email, CSV, or Microsoft Entra group).
      2. Send a registration link (invitation email) from Azure Lab Services.
    • To resend or check invitations, the lab creator does the following in the Azure Lab Services website:
      1. Open the lab and go to the Users page.
      2. Confirm that the user’s email is listed.
      3. Use Invite all (or get the Registration link from the menu) to send or resend the invitation.
      4. Check the Status column:
        • Not registered – user has not used the registration link yet.
        • SendingSent on <date> – invitation email has been sent.
    • As a participant:
      1. Open the registration URL received from the instructor.
      2. Sign in with the same email address the invitation was sent to.
      3. After registering once, go to the Azure Lab Services website (https://labs.azure.com) and select My virtual machines to see the lab VM.

If the invitation email was never received or the link has expired, the only way to “send again” is for the lab creator/instructor to resend the registration link from the Users page in Azure Lab Services.

If this is a Microsoft Teams meeting-only live session (no Azure Lab Services / assessment lab), the calendar invite and re-sending of invitations are handled by the meeting organizer in Outlook/Teams, not by any lab portal.
