Hello,

I am contacting you regarding my Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications, as I am unable to locate and download my certificates:

  • Microsoft Office Specialist – Excel (Office 2016)
  • Microsoft Office Specialist – Word (Office 2016)

I logged into Microsoft Learn using my Microsoft account and checked the Credentials / Certificates section, but my certificates do not appear there.

For your information:

The exams were passed in 2019. The certifications were obtained before September 2025

I would appreciate your help in:

  • Understand why my MOS Office 2016 certificates do not appear in my Microsoft account,
  • Find out how to link them to my Microsoft Learn profile.

I am available to provide any additional information required for verification (full name, email address used for the exam, exam centre if required).

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

MOS Excel and Word 2016 exams are delivered through Certiport, and certifications earned through Certiport are not currently reflected in the Microsoft Learn profile. Because of this, MOS 2016 certificates will not appear under Credentials/Certificates in the Microsoft Learn account and cannot be linked there.

To manage and share MOS 2016 credentials, use the Certiport account that was used when taking the exams. All MOS certificates from those exams must be accessed and downloaded directly from Certiport.

If there is uncertainty about which account was used or if the certificates are missing in Certiport, contact Certiport Customer Service for assistance with account and credential recovery.

If any Microsoft certifications were taken through Pearson VUE instead of Certiport and are missing from the Learn profile, follow these steps:

    1. Review the certification requirements to confirm that all required exams for a certification were passed.
    2. Confirm that the correct Microsoft Learn profile is being used by trying all possible login accounts that might have been used when registering for the exams.
    3. If credentials are still missing, contact Microsoft Credentials Support for further help.
