Dear Microsoft Certification Support Team,

I have successfully completed the AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification exam.

However, I am unable to see or access my certification in my current Microsoft Learn profile.

Exam details:

  • Certification: AZ-900 – Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • Candidate Name: Rajasekhar Pokuru
  • Candidate ID: MS1100004322
  • Registration ID: 483046710
  • Exam Date: 22 July 2024
  • Confirmation Number: 0072-2534-1900

At the time of the exam, I may have used a different email/account (possibly my previous company email), and I am currently unable to locate the certification under my present login.

Kindly assist me in locating or linking my certification to my current Microsoft Learn account so that I can access and download my certificate.

Please let me know if any additional information is required.

Thank you, Rajasekhar Pokuru

The AZ-900 certification is almost certainly associated with a different Microsoft Learn profile than the one currently in use.

Take these steps to locate and link it:

    1. Confirm the correct Learn profile
      • Sign in to Microsoft Learn using any other accounts that might have been used on exam day (for example, the previous company email or any personal Microsoft accounts).
      • After signing in, open the profile and check:
        • Credentials → Certifications to see if “AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals” appears.
        • Transcript to see if the exam and certification are listed.
    2. Use the “missing certifications” guidance
Follow the official steps for missing exams or certifications:
      • Verify that the AZ-900 certification requirements are met by checking the AZ-900 details page in the certification or exam details pages.
      • Make sure the sign-in being used matches the one used when registering for the exam. If a shared or work computer was used, there is a high chance the wrong account is now being used.
      • Check which account received the exam “congratulations” email. The email’s profile link may point to the Learn profile that actually holds the certification.
    3. If the certification is on a different Learn profile
If the AZ-900 certification is found under another Learn profile that uses a different login account:
      • Sign in to the Learn profile that should become the main profile.
      • Go to login account management and choose “add login account”.
      • Add the other login account that holds the AZ-900 certification.
      • If that login is associated with another Learn profile, this will trigger a profile merge.
      • After the merge, all learning progress, credentials, and transcripts from both profiles will be combined into a single profile. Note that merging cannot be undone.
    4. If access to the old personal Microsoft account is lost
      • If the exam was taken with a personal Microsoft account that can no longer be accessed and no alternate work/school account was added to that Learn profile, access to that profile and its data cannot be restored by Microsoft Credentials Support. Recovery is only possible via the Microsoft account self-service options.
    5. If the certification still does not appear
      • Use the official Microsoft Credentials Support channel to investigate missing credentials. Provide the exam details (exam code, date, Candidate ID, Registration ID, Confirmation Number) and clarify that the exam may have been taken under a different account.
      • Follow the “Contact Support” process under Credentials Support to submit a support request so the team can review the records and assist with aligning the certification to the correct Learn profile, if possible.

Once the AZ-900 certification appears in the Learn profile, it can be viewed and shared from:

    • Profile → Transcript to see all completed certifications and modules and generate a share link or PDF.
    • Profile → Credentials → Certifications to view certification details and print/save the certificate.
