Biztalk reprocessing dehydrated messages
I'm very new to the BizTalk Server 2020 environment and haven’t had any formal training. Earlier today, BizTalk lost its connection to the backend SQL Server for about 20 minutes. Once the SQL connection was restored, BizTalk appeared to return to normal.
However, I now have 399 dehydrated messages in the Admin Console — all of them correspond to the 20‑minute period when BizTalk couldn’t reach SQL Server. These messages did not automatically resume after the SQL connection came back up.
I tried the two recovery methods I found online: first suspending and resuming the messages, and then stopping and restarting the Host Instance they belong to. Neither approach worked.
There must be a way to get BizTalk Server 2020 to reprocess these dehydrated messages. Any help would be appreciated. Please keep explanations simple, as I have very limited BizTalk experience.
