I have cancelled numerous times my Azure Developer subscription and autorenewal. I have also cancelled the payment methods. Despite this, every month I am charged.

How do I stop this immediately and get a refund for all the money taken from my account without any authority?

Here’s what usually trips people up with the Developer Support plan (aka “Azure Developer subscription” in your billing blade):

Turn off auto-renewal

Sign in to the Azure portal

Navigate to Cost Management + Billing > All billing subscriptions

Select your Developer support plan

Click Cancel, then toggle Auto-renew to Off

Turning off auto-renewal will prevent future charges at the next renewal date. Note that Microsoft bills you through the end of the current month once a renewal has processed; you won’t see prorated refunds for in-month cancellation.

Check your billing account type Depending on whether you’re on a Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA), Enterprise Agreement (EA), CSP or another agreement, the exact UI and cancellation rules can differ. Make sure you’re in the right billing scope in the portal.

Request a refund for already-processed charges

In the portal, go to Cost Management + Billing > Invoices

Find the invoice(s) for those monthly charges

Click the “Request a refund” button

If you don’t see a refund option, open a billing support case:

Help + Support > + New support request

Issue type: Billing

Subscription: (select your subscription)

Service: Subscription management

Problem type: Refund request

Once support request raised, the concerned team will solve your issue. Thanks
