Hello everyone!

I'm having trouble accessing Microsoft tech community I was a part of the Microsoft tech community, but I tried to restart my account, but it won't let me set up my account again. it is saying Page Not Found Let's get you back on track and I reached out to Microsoft support and they didn't do much to help.

I would love some suggestions please!

The Microsoft Tech Community itself is working, so this is most likely an account or sign-in issue rather than the site being down. Since the account “restart” failed and now shows “Page Not Found,” the most effective next steps are to work with Microsoft support channels that can see and fix account data, or to use community-based help where Tech Community issues are actively discussed.

    Try the following paths:

    1. Use the Outlook/Account support entry points
      • If this Tech Community account is tied to a Microsoft consumer account (Outlook.com / personal Microsoft account), first confirm that the underlying Microsoft account is healthy and accessible using the sign-in helper:
        • Go to the Sign-in Helper and follow the prompts to detect and fix sign-in problems.
      • If the account itself has sign-in or verification problems, resolve those first (password reset, verification, or recovery form as needed) before trying Tech Community again.
    2. If the Microsoft account is locked or blocked
      • If the account has been locked due to suspicious activity or policy issues, follow the unlock flow described for Microsoft accounts. When signing in, if there is no Next option and a link beginning with aka.ms/ is shown, use that link to submit the reinstatement form and wait for the email response from Microsoft Online Safety.
    3. Contact Microsoft support from a working account
      • If the primary account cannot be used to sign in anywhere, sign in with any other Microsoft account (or create a new one) and contact Microsoft Support:
        • Go to Contact Support.
        • Describe the problem as an issue with accessing the Microsoft Tech Community tied to a specific Microsoft account, and that the profile page shows “Page Not Found” after attempting to restart the account.
        • Ask the agent to check for issues with the Microsoft account and to route the case appropriately (account/billing vs. community platform).
    4. Use community channels where Tech Community issues are discussed
      • Tech Community access and profile issues are often surfaced and discussed in Microsoft communities. Since direct Tech Community access is failing, use other Microsoft communities to ask about the specific “Page Not Found” behavior and whether the profile needs to be re-linked or reset by the platform team.
    5. If the account is a work/school (Entra ID) account
      • If the Tech Community profile is tied to a work or school account, and there are MFA or sign-in issues (for example, Authenticator problems), the organization’s admin or Microsoft Data Protection team may need to assist. In that case, open a support request via the Microsoft 365 admin center or by calling Microsoft support so they can verify identity and restore access.

If none of the above resolves the issue, continue working with Microsoft Support (using a different account if necessary) and provide them with:

    • The email address used for Tech Community.
    • When the issue started.
    • The exact error text (“Page Not Found – Let’s get you back on track”).
    • Confirmation that the underlying Microsoft account can sign in elsewhere (Outlook, account.microsoft.com, etc.).
