[Article] [Quick] Style Sets can include multilevel numbering attached to paragraph Styles

I and others here have long thought that you cannot attach proper multi-level numbering to a [Quick] Style Set.

I was mistaken.

The Black & White (Numbered) set in recent versions includes numbering attached to the built-in heading styles.

You cannot include a list style in a [Quick] Style set. It may transfer to some extent.

When a [Quick] Style Set with custom multilevel numbering attached to built-in heading styles is used on a document, the list for that shows up as a the current list in the document but does not show up as list in current documents when other documents are opened.

It does not, though, show up in the Lists in Current Documents. The following is the drop-down when in another document where the document used to create the [Quick] Style Set is open.

If the list is modified in the document after the [Quick] Style Set is applied, then it will show up in that bottom category when the document containing it is open.

I then tried with custom paragraph styles based on normal. There were nine such styles, all in the [Quick] Styles Gallery. I then created a new multilevel list and attached the numbering levels to those custom styles.

Then I saved a custom [Quick] Style Set from that document and closed the document.

I then created a new document and attached that set to it.

1. When I looked at the MultiLevel List drop down, nothing about the new list was there in the document.
2. The custom heading styles were in the [Quick] Styles Gallery.
3. I applied one of those styles.
4. Then looking at the MultiLevel list dialog, the list showed up as in the current document.

This appears to be the same as the sixth selection in the default list library, but comes through a [quick] style set.

1. numbering is attached to styles (following the strictures in Shauna Kelly's instructions) (Can use built-in Heading Styles or other [custom] paragraph styles.)
2. that are in the Quick Styles Gallery and
3. a [Quick] Style Set is created.
4. Using that [quick] style set will bring the numbering into a new document with use of any of those numbered styles.
5. This should be as stable as numbering created in the document using Shauna Kelly's techniques.
