i need to merge my ms.learn account, i need my old account certification data in my new account.

Certification data cannot be moved from one Microsoft Learn profile to another, but Learn profiles that meet the requirements can be merged so that all certifications and learning progress end up under a single profile.

Key points:

Only one Learn profile may contain a personal Microsoft account (MSA).
When profiles are merged, all learning progress, credentials, and transcripts from both profiles are combined into one profile, and this cannot be undone.
After merging, it is still possible to sign in with all login accounts that were associated with the original profiles.

To merge the old and new Learn profiles so that certifications from the old account appear in the new one:

Sign in to one of the Learn profiles (choose which will be the main profile to keep).
Go to profile Settings → Account Management.
Select Add login account.
Sign in with the login account that is associated with the other Learn profile.
If that login account is already tied to a different Learn profile, the system will trigger a profile merge and bring all learning progress and certifications from that second profile into the signed‑in profile.

Notes:

Merging profile data cannot be undone.
If adding the other login account would exceed the limit of five work or school accounts, the merge will be canceled and that limit must be resolved first.
After the merge, editable information (like display name and interests) can still be changed, but the combined learning data will remain merged.

If the goal is only to change the email used to sign in or receive communications (and not to keep two separate profiles), add the desired login account to the existing Learn profile instead of creating a new profile, and set communication preferences in the Learn profile settings.
