I need to change my last name from Narayanappa to Acharla

For a work or school account backed by Microsoft Entra ID, the last name shown in Microsoft services (including Microsoft Learn, Outlook, etc.) is controlled by the organization.

To change the last name from Narayanappa to Acharla:

1. Sign in to the work/school account profile page if self-service name changes are allowed:
   • Use the Sign in link under the Work/school account section in the article below.
2. If the organization does not allow users to change their own names, contact the IT administrator or HR department and request that they update the last name in Microsoft Entra ID / Microsoft 365.
3. After the admin updates the name, allow up to 24 hours for the change to propagate across Microsoft services.

If the name that appears in Outlook mobile or contact cards is still incorrect after the directory is updated, that information may still be coming from organizational systems; in that case, continue to work with IT or HR to ensure the source record is corrected.
