What is the cost of using Microsoft Learn?

Microsoft Learn skilling content is free for both individuals and organizations.

For individuals:

• Access to documentation, training modules, learning paths, videos, Q&A, and most hands-on labs is free.
• Creating and using a Microsoft Learn profile is free and enables features like progress tracking, bookmarks, collections, points/achievements, free Azure resources and labs, challenges, and certification exam registration.
• Certification exams themselves have a separate cost.

For organizations:

• There is no cost to use Microsoft Learn content (documentation, training, videos, Q&A, etc.) for users in the organization.
• Integrations such as the Learn Catalog API and Learn platform integrations are free to use.
• The Organizational Reporting service is free as a platform feature, but organizations pay for any Azure storage used to store reporting data (for example, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, or Data Lake) and for Azure Data Share–related storage/transfer within their own subscription.
• Certifications for users still incur exam fees.
