Missing "Product Identity" and "Product Management" sections in Apps and Games Workspace

Hello Support Team,

I am writing regarding my application "DupClean Pro" (or "DupClean").

My account status is currently "Active" in the Legal Info section, and I have successfully reserved my app name. However, I am unable to locate the "Product Management" or "Product Identity" pages within the Partner Center dashboard.

I specifically need to retrieve my Package Family Name (PFN), Identity Name, and Product ID to complete the packaging of my Electron-based application for the Microsoft Store.

The Issue:

The "Product Management" menu is missing from the left-hand sidebar.

I cannot find the Product Identity details under the App Overview.

Could you please verify if there is a permission sync issue with my account or provide the direct navigation path to these technical details in the current 2026 dashboard layout?

Thank you, Mithali T

In the current Partner Center experience, the Product identity details are only available after an app has a Store-assigned identity and packages associated with it. The navigation is also slightly different depending on app type (MSIX/UWP/PWA/game).

    Based on the documented behavior:

    1. Confirm the app has a Store identity
      • Go to the app in Partner Center.
      • Under Product management, there should be a Product identity page once the Store has assigned an identity.
      • If the app does not yet have an identity, the guidance for PWAs applies: you must reserve a name and then create the identity from the Product identity page. If no identity exists, the page will show an option to create one, but this only appears after the product is fully set up as a Store app, not just after name reservation.
      • If the app is still in a state where no identity has been generated, PFN and Identity Name will not exist yet.
    2. Ensure the app is created as a Store product with packages
      • The Manage packages and related technical details under Product management only show data after at least one package has been published or associated with the product. Until then, some Product management subpages can be empty or not visible.
      • For MSIX/UWP apps, once packages exist, the Product identity page will show:
        • Identity values to include in the app package manifest:
          • Package/Identity/Name
          • Package/Identity/Publisher
          • Package/Properties/PublisherDisplayName
        • Additional values for the package family (not in the manifest):
          • Package Family Name (PFN)
          • Package SID
    3. Alternate access path to Product identity
      • For MSIX apps, Product identity details can also be accessed from the application overview page via a dedicated Product identity card, in addition to the Product identity page under Product management.
    4. If Product management/Product identity is missing entirely
      • When the left navigation does not show Product management or Product identity at all for a product that should have a Store identity, this typically indicates a Partner Center configuration or backend issue rather than a packaging problem.
      • In such cases, the documented resolution pattern is to open a Partner Center support ticket so the backend configuration can be checked and corrected. This is also the recommended path when identity-related data (such as Package SID for WNS) does not match what the Store backend expects.
    5. What to request from support
      • Provide:
        • The product’s Store ID (Store Product ID).
        • The app name as shown in Partner Center (e.g., “DupClean Pro”).
        • A description that Product management / Product identity is missing from the left navigation and from the app overview, and that PFN/Identity Name/Product ID are needed for packaging.
      • Ask support to:
        • Verify that the product has a Store identity assigned.
        • Verify that the correct app type is configured (MSIX/UWP/desktop bridge/PWA) so that Product identity is exposed.
        • Refresh or fix the product configuration if the identity exists but the UI is not showing it.

Once the Product identity is correctly exposed, the PFN, Identity Name, and Store ID can be read directly from the Product identity page or the Product identity card on the application overview page.
