I'd like to start this off with the reason I'm even complaining in the first place. I am working on an assignment for school using MS Paint. I was almost done with the second poster I was making and my computer crashed right as I was finishing up. All the progress I made today was deleted. I cannot bring it back. I have to start all over again and I am PISSED.
Which brings me to the point at hand. The new version of MS Paint is UTTER GARBAGE. I get it, you freaks over at Microsoft wanted to add layers and AI slop garbage and all this bullshit you thought would make MS Paint more "useable". But truth be told, we did not need any of this. In fact, these new additions have made MS Paint a buggy "art program" that crashes on you CONSTANTLY.
You refuse to listen to your customers. We all hate the new MS Paint. We want the Windows 7/10 version back. BUT YOU CORPORATE PIGS REFUSE TO LISTEN. I refuse to update my home laptop simply because the new version of MS Paint is an unusable, glitchy, piece of junk that never works and constantly begs at your feet for you to use Microsoft's new AI model. The artist community (and furthermore the people that use MS Paint) are strongly against AI, mind you. But YOU JUST WON'T LISTEN. You never listen to your customers. You may think you're getting more money by doing this, but you are losing out massively.
I have been using Classic MS Paint for 6 years. I learned to draw on Classic MS Paint. I have made my magnum opus using Classis MS Paint. I thought the new version having layers and a pencil tool that exceeds 4px would improve my experience. It has not. It has only made my experience worse. I have lost pieces of art to this new version. This was a huge betrayal for me, and it's been an even bigger betrayal for the people who grew up on MS Paint. You have ruined your own art program solely to indulge in your weird AI fetish that all tech companies have now. Thanks a lot, Microsoft. Thanks a lot, Satya Nadella, you piece of flaming human garbage. You have betrayed your customer base. We do not need the Windows 11 version of MS Paint. I don't even think I can call the Windows 11 version an art program anymore. I doubt you're going to do anything about this, but I strongly advise you bring back Classic MS Paint.
