Can I rename Company Portal to something else?

The name Company Portal is very generic and not descriptive of what it does. Can I rename it for our internal use or at least give it an alias that I can publish instead of Company Portal?

Renaming the Intune Company Portal app itself (its display name in app stores, on the device home screen, or in the OS app list) is not supported. The app branding, including the name “Company Portal,” is controlled by Microsoft and cannot be changed or aliased to a different app name.

What can be customized is how devices and actions appear inside Company Portal and the Company Portal website (for example, renaming devices so users can recognize them more easily), but this does not change the product name or icon of the app itself.

For internal communication, the only option is to refer to it by another name in documentation, training, or intranet pages, while users still install and open the app called “Company Portal.”
