The Windows Update process paused at the Gradual Rollout node because Microsoft’s automated quality checks or telemetry signaled a potential issue with the driver during rollout.

In gradual rollout, Microsoft continuously monitors driver health using telemetry. If a driver fails to meet Microsoft quality checks, the rollout is automatically paused and the throttle percentage is set to 0%. Driver Shiproom administrators can also pause rollout based on other telemetry signals. When this happens, Microsoft or the OEM investigates before rollout can continue. During such a pause, no action is required from the partner until Microsoft completes its investigation or requests remediation.
