A cloud-based identity and access management service for securing user authentication and resource access
The account is currently in a security‑info change hold, which is why sign‑in to the Azure portal that requires a security code is blocked and OTPs are not usable. When security info is replaced, Microsoft enforces a waiting period (typically 30 days). During this time, access to resources that require that security info is restricted until the update date shown in the message (28‑04‑2026 in the screenshot).
Because the change request is already in progress, there is no supported way to bypass or shorten this waiting period. The only available options are:
- Wait until the security info update date shown in the message. After that date, sign‑in with the new security info (phone/email) and OTP should start working again.
- In the meantime, use only services that do not require the security code (for example, Outlook or Skype, as indicated in the message), if those are available to the account.
Do not attempt to change or remove all security info again during this period, as changing all security info at once can trigger or extend the restriction.
