The error indicates a block or restriction at the exam-delivery level that only support channels can clear; self-service options will not resolve it. Given the steps already taken with Pearson VUE and the Microsoft Security Team, the next escalation path is through the dedicated Credentials/Certification support channels so the profile can be reviewed and unblocked.
Use these steps:
- Open a ticket with Microsoft Credentials Support
- Go to Credentials support: Credentials support.
- Under How to contact support, follow the guidance for exam-related issues (GitHub Certifications section shows the pattern):
- For exam appointment and scheduling issues, contact the Exam Delivery Partner (Pearson VUE) using the listed link.
- Since Pearson VUE has already redirected back to Microsoft, use the same page to file a support ticket with the Credentials Support team (follow the “contact Certification Support” / “file a ticket” link flow described there).
- In the ticket, include:
- The exact error text: “Microsoft registrations are currently not permitted for this candidate…”.
- Confirmation from Pearson VUE that they believe the Microsoft account is blocked.
- The response from the Microsoft Security Team stating there is no ban.
- The exam ID (GH‑900) and the email/ID used on Microsoft Learn and Pearson VUE.
- Ask specifically for a Certification profile review
- Request that the support team:
- Check for any hidden or backend restrictions on the Microsoft Certification profile that would prevent new registrations.
- Verify that the Microsoft account, Certification profile, and Pearson VUE profile are correctly linked and in good standing.
- Coordinate directly with Pearson VUE if a Pearson-side block (such as ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK or similar) needs to be lifted. A similar case (PL‑300 scheduling) required Pearson VUE to remove a wide block after Microsoft support confirmed the situation.
- Request that the support team:
- Address the expired voucher
- In the same ticket, explain that the voucher expired on 27 March specifically because of this unresolved registration block.
- Request a resolution that includes either:
- Reinstatement or replacement of the expired voucher, or
- An alternative remedy the Credentials Support team can offer.
- If the web form is difficult to navigate
- Use the direct “support for business” link pattern shown in a similar transcript issue case to reach the correct queue. That example demonstrates that Microsoft support can route tickets directly to the Certification team when standard paths fail.
- Continue using Pearson VUE only for delivery issues
- For any future technical issues with exam delivery or appointment and scheduling mechanics (once the block is cleared), use Pearson VUE Support as listed on the Credentials support page.
This combination—opening a formal Credentials Support ticket, explicitly describing the loop between Pearson VUE and the Security Team, and requesting a Certification profile review plus voucher consideration—is the supported way to get scheduling access restored.
