I never got the confirmation email to my Purdue global university email so that I could click the link I needed to for Microsoft Azure after I made an account. Under education and free software, I was supposed to have 74 items available, and I only have 28. I called Microsoft and they don't connect me with a person. I need help getting all 74 of the free software items available so that I can do my assignment for this week. It's urgent.

Azure for Students and Azure for Students Starter both require successful academic verification before full benefits (including software downloads) are available. If the confirmation/verification email to the college address never arrived, the account is likely not fully verified, which limits access to software.

    Take these steps:

    1. Confirm eligibility and sign‑up path
      • Azure for Students requires:
        • Enrollment as a full‑time student at an accredited, degree‑granting institution.
        • Verification of academic status through the institution email address.
      • Azure for Students Starter requires:
        • Minimum age (13+ in US, 16+ elsewhere).
        • Verification via institution email or Shibboleth.
      • If the institution email was not successfully verified, the subscription may not be created or may be limited.
    2. Check junk/spam and filtering rules
      • Look in junk/spam folders for any message related to Azure for Students or Azure for Students Starter.
      • If found, mark the sender as safe and complete the verification/confirmation process from that email.
    3. Re‑initiate the student offer sign‑up
      • Go back to the Azure for Students or Azure for Students Starter offer page and attempt sign‑up again using the Purdue Global email.
      • If the system indicates the email is already used, follow the on‑screen flow to sign in and complete verification.
    4. Verify subscription type and status
      • Sign in to the Azure portal and open the Education Hub.
      • Confirm whether there is an active Azure for Students or Azure for Students Starter subscription.
        • Azure for Students: includes $100 credit and access to software developer tools.
        • Azure for Students Starter: limited set of Azure services and software tools.
      • If only a limited or no student subscription is present, the verification may have failed or not completed.
    5. Access the software list correctly
      • For an active Azure for Students or Students Starter subscription, software is downloaded from the Azure Education Hub software page:
      • The number of items visible depends on the active subscription and its status; incomplete verification or a different offer will show fewer items.
    6. If the subscription is missing or incomplete
      • If there is no Azure for Students / Students Starter subscription, or the expected benefits are clearly missing, support intervention is required.
      • Use the institution’s IT or program contact (often the instructor or department IT) to:
        • Confirm that the course/program is correctly set up for Azure for Education.
        • Request that the institution’s Azure for Education admin verify the account and entitlement.
    7. For urgent assignment needs
      • If Azure for Students Starter is available and can be activated, it provides immediate, no‑credit‑card access to key services (App Service, Functions, Notification Hubs, Azure Database for MySQL, Application Insights, Azure DevOps), which may be sufficient to complete many coursework tasks while the full Azure for Students subscription issue is resolved.
