I'm trying to redeem my xbox Rewards but it says I need a phone verification from my Microsoft account

To redeem Xbox/Microsoft Rewards, SMS verification must be completed on the Microsoft account using a valid phone number (not VoIP). Use these steps:

1. Sign in to the Microsoft account security page and add a phone number as security info (mobile or landline only).
2. When prompted, choose to receive a verification code by SMS or call.
3. Enter the code exactly as received to verify the number.
4. Return to the Microsoft Rewards/Xbox Rewards redemption page and try redeeming again.

If verification fails or codes do not arrive:

• Make sure the number is not a VoIP number; VoIP is not allowed for Rewards SMS verification.
• Ensure the same phone number is not already used on more than 6 Microsoft Rewards accounts in the same household.
• If there have been too many failed attempts, wait 48 hours before trying again.
• Confirm that no VPN or proxy is in use and that the account region and physical location match, since Rewards redemptions must occur in the account’s home region.
