I am a senior citizen have never had any issues with windows 10. Windows 11 full of issues. I can no longer download .csv files. My outlook contact e-mail addresses have disappeared. Talked to outlook person took control over my computer tried to fix never downloaded but deleted all but one of my few contacts I had added. Continuous error messages. Have tried to call them back but now direct me to the web. I use my computer mainly for excel & outlook. sometimes word. I need someone to personally call me as I am not a computer genius and need help. I am paying for 365 & have been informed by an 800 number to go on the web. Totally useless when you do not have adequate computer knowledge. I need HELP. Please note although I am retired, I am not always with my computer. If you could arrange an afternoon to call me, I would appreciate it so much. You can e-mail me with a time after lunch EST to schedule a call. Thanks

Because there are multiple issues and a need for live assistance, the most appropriate next step is to contact Microsoft support directly and request a call back, using the support included with the Microsoft 365 subscription.

For home users with a Microsoft 365 subscription (such as Microsoft 365 Personal or Family), technical support for Outlook, Excel, Word, and supported versions of Windows is available via chat and call back from a support expert. Support can help with:

    • Troubleshooting Outlook contacts that disappeared after Windows 11 upgrade or support session
    • Fixing issues downloading .csv files
    • Addressing repeated error messages in Windows 11 and Office apps

To reach a live support agent for home use of Microsoft 365 and Windows/Office:

    1. Use the official Microsoft support entry point for home products:
      • Go to the Microsoft 365 Customer Service and Support page and choose the option to Chat or receive a call back from a technical support expert. This is available for Microsoft 365 Basic, Personal, Family, or Premium subscriptions and includes support for Outlook, Excel, Word, and supported Windows versions.
    2. If help is needed with downloading, installing, or activating Windows or Office, or for account and billing questions, use the Get Help experience for home users. From there, describe the problem and choose the option to be connected to support, which may include chat or a request for a call back so that support calls back instead of requiring a phone number to dial.
    3. If a direct phone number is needed, use the customer service phone numbers page for home users, select the region, and then choose the appropriate number. However, for many home users the recommended path is to start with Get Help and request a call back.

Because the request is for a scheduled afternoon call, this can be communicated to the support agent when starting the chat or call-back request, so they can work with preferred times as available.

If Windows 11 itself is causing repeated errors or activation/troubleshooting issues, the Windows 11 update history and troubleshooting resources can also be used, but given the complexity and comfort level described, working directly with a support expert by phone or call back is the most suitable path.
