Other features or issues related to Microsoft Partner Center
Partner Center company account verification can take from a few days to a couple of weeks, especially for company accounts where Microsoft must validate the legal business information and your association with the company.
To move forward under a tight schedule:
- Confirm the account is correctly submitted
- Sign in to Partner Center.
- Go to Settings (gear icon) → Account settings → Legal info or the Account settings / verification page to check the current verification status.
- Ensure all required fields (company legal name, address, primary contact, uploaded legal document, etc.) are complete and accurate.
- Make sure the registration details meet the requirements
- Use a business/corporate email for the primary contact where required.
- Ensure the company legal name and address match the legal documents and, if used, the Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS) record.
- Verify that a valid legal document (formation documents, government-issued letter/license, etc.) has been uploaded for company verification.
- If you haven’t already, follow the official company account flow
- Start from the Partner Center registration page and select Windows and Xbox (for Windows-related development) and Company as the account type.
- Provide company details either via DUNS lookup or manual entry, then complete payment and submit for verification.
- If verification is stuck beyond the typical window
- Since verification “can take from a few days to a couple of weeks,” and the project is urgent, open a support request via Partner Center support so Microsoft can review the status of your verification and request any missing documentation.
While waiting for verification to complete, it is still possible to continue technical work (for example, building and testing, preparing submissions), but publishing and certain program enrollments will remain blocked until the company account is fully verified.
