Onenote notebooks not listed only showing in Open Backups

How to get some of my Onenote notebooks to show up normally. I can only see them by going to show backups. Once I open one of the folders they then show up in "Open Sections" rather than in the original Notebook. Using Microsoft 365 home on a MacBook Pro.

    Those sections are being opened directly from backup files, not from a normal, active notebook, so they only appear under “Open Sections.” To get them back into a regular notebook so they show up normally, restore them from the backup into an existing or new notebook.
