Manual Review Request: Recovery of 11-Year-Old Legacy Account (ACSR Form Failing)
I am seeking assistance with a manual review for my legacy Microsoft account (******@hotmail.com). I have been unable to regain access through the automated ACSR recovery form due to the following circumstances:
Account Inactivity: This account is approximately 11 years old and has not been accessed since roughly 2015. The automated recovery system asks for "recent" email subjects and contacts, which is impossible to provide for an account that has been dormant for a decade.
Unauthorized Security Info: The current recovery email on file is a .fr (France) domain. I have no connection to France and did not set this recovery option. It appears my security information was altered during my period of inactivity.
Verification Loop: I have attempted the automated recovery form multiple times, providing historical data (old passwords and location info), but the system rejects the request because it cannot find "recent" activity to match.
Request: Because the automated bot is not designed to handle recovery for 10+ year old accounts with outdated security info, I am requesting an escalation to a Microsoft Support Advocate for a manual identity verification.
I am the rightful owner and can provide historical details that the automated form does not recognize. Please advise on the next steps for a manual ownership check.
