Can’t recover Microsoft account used for Store apps (ghostlyinc.com)

Hello,

I cannot access my Microsoft account associated with my domain (ghostlyinc.com) anymore. This account was mainly used to publish apps in the Microsoft Store (2 apps currently live).

The problem is that I never added full recovery details to this account (only email verification), so the recovery form keeps getting rejected.

I am the owner of the domain ghostlyinc.com and still have full control over the corresponding email address.

I also have access to another Microsoft account on the same device/location. However, I did not use this account for the developer account because it did not work properly for Microsoft Store registration at the time.

Is there any way to verify ownership via:

Domain ownership (ghostlyinc.com)

Microsoft Store apps linked to this account

or escalate this case to recover access?

Thank you.

There is no supported way to recover a Microsoft account or validate ownership using domain ownership or linked Store apps outside of the standard self-service recovery process.

For any Microsoft account (including those used for Store/Partner Center), only these options are available:

    1. Use the Sign-in Helper and standard recovery
      • If the password is known but sign-in fails, use the Sign-in Helper tool: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2214157
      • If the password is forgotten, follow Reset your password from the sign-in page.
      • If verification options shown during reset are not recognized or not accessible, complete the Microsoft account recovery form (ACSR) as accurately as possible. Guidance is here: Help with the Microsoft account recovery form.
    2. Improve the recovery form submission
      • Submit the form from a device and location previously used with the account.
      • Ensure a working alternate email is provided (this can be any active email, including a newly created Outlook.com address) so Microsoft can send updates.
      • Before filling the form, gather any passwords saved in browsers or Credential Manager as suggested in the guidance, then resubmit with as much accurate detail as possible.
    3. When recovery is not possible
      • If the recovery form is repeatedly rejected, or if security info was changed and cannot be accessed, there is no escalation path through support to override this. Support agents are not allowed to reset passwords, change account details, or bypass the recovery process.
      • If the account has not been signed into for more than two years, it may have been deleted and cannot be reopened.

Ownership of the custom domain (ghostlyinc.com), proof of app ownership in the Microsoft Store, or other external evidence cannot be used to regain access if the automated recovery fails. In that case, the account and its associated Store/Developer access cannot be restored.
