To add another computer to an existing Microsoft 365 subscription, install Microsoft 365 on the new device and sign in with the same account that has the subscription.

Follow these steps on the new computer:

1. Go to https://www.office.com in a browser.
2. Sign in using the Microsoft account that owns the Microsoft 365 subscription.
3. Select Apps (or similar option showing available apps and services).
4. In the upper-right corner, select Install apps (or Install Microsoft 365).
5. Download the installer file and run it.
6. After installation, open any Microsoft 365 app (for example, Word) and sign in with the same Microsoft account when prompted.

Notes based on the subscription behavior:

• Microsoft 365 can be installed on all devices, but only five devices can be signed in at the same time. If signing in on more than five devices, one of the earlier devices will be signed out automatically. To use Microsoft 365 again on a signed-out device, just sign back in.
