VIDEOS DO NOT LOAD ON MSN

For the past 3 weeks, videos do not load on my MSN Homepage. The video starts - then becomes interrupted by the AD - the AD PLAYS FROM BEGINNING TO END - but the video is not frozen and does not play. I cleared the cache and the problem still exists. I am frustrated that MSN support could not help me, although I am an MSN customer with an account for many many years. The tech support person told me to write my question on this website. Frankly, I am not confident that I will receive a reply with technical support to fix this issue.

He gave me a CASE NUMBER and told me to write it in my question.

This is my Case# 7099771386

I need help to resolve this.

MSN Learn Q&A and the provided documentation do not offer direct end-user troubleshooting for video playback issues on the MSN homepage. Available guidance focuses on MSN partners (publishers) troubleshooting upload, ingestion, monetization, and visibility issues, not playback problems on a consumer’s device.

For issues with comments, moderation, or MSN site behavior, the documented escalation path is to use the Feedback option on the MSN site itself, as Learn Q&A and related channels cannot access or act on MSN cases or moderation systems.

To proceed, submit detailed feedback directly from the MSN page where the problem occurs (including browser, device, and a brief description that ads play but videos freeze afterward). This routes the issue to the MSN team that owns the site and playback experience.

    Hi,

Is this happening in Edge? If so, have you tried clearing MSN cache and cookies? See if it is just a cache problem, preventing the videos to play properly. Close all MSN tabs, then go to Edge Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Cookies > See all cookies and site data. Search MSN, expand and click on the bin icons on each cookie to delete them. Just let me know if you're using a different browser so I can provide the proper steps.

I’ve had this problem for a long time, have tried several different browsers, cleared cache, etc. no luck.

But did solve the problem a different way. I no longer click on any msn videos, instead if I’m truly interested, I search the title on YouTube or Bing and am generally able to find and watch.

I figured if they don’t want to provide legit support they don’t care if we actually watch on their platform.

    Good luck everyone
