A private one-on-one chat feature within the GroupMe app that allows users to communicate outside of group conversations.
I am speaking of the Web Version. Did you look at the attachment?

Even if you use the desktop version, the screenshot will look the same.
Could you please confirm if you’re able to sign in using an incognito/private browsing tab? You can also try clearing your browsing history, cache, and cookies in your browser, or try using a different web browser entirely to see if you’re able to sign in.

Could you please let me know if you are using the GroupMe desktop, mobile app, or web version?
Try connecting your device to another Wi-Fi network, such as a mobile network, and see if you can sign in. That is,
- Open the Recent Tabs section, then close the GroupMe app in the lists.
- Restart your device.
- Connect your device to another Wi-Fi network.
- Then, relaunch GroupMe and sign in with your account.
If you are still having trouble signing in, try reinstalling the app or see if you can sign in with your account on an incognito tab online -https://groupme.com/
