Outlook and Microsoft Store both rely on specific connectivity and security components that can fail even when general internet access works. Try these targeted steps:

    1. Confirm Windows and Store app health
    • Make sure Windows is fully updated: Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates, then install anything offered.
    1. Reset Microsoft Store cache
    • Press Windows logo key + R.
    • Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
    • A blank Command Prompt opens, closes after ~10 seconds, and Microsoft Store should reopen automatically.
    • Test Store downloads/updates again.
    1. Check internet connectivity from Windows’ perspective Even if browsers work, Windows components may think there is “No Internet Access.”
    • On the lock screen, select Network and confirm the device is connected.
    • If using Wi‑Fi and the signal is weak, temporarily connect via Ethernet directly to the router/modem.
    • If already on Ethernet, unplug and firmly re‑insert the cable until it clicks.
    • Test the connection with another device to rule out a broader network issue.
    1. Fix TLS settings (can block Store and Microsoft 365 apps)
    • Press Windows key, search for Run, open it.
    • Enter inetcpl.cpl and press OK.
    • Go to the Advanced tab and scroll to the bottom.
    • Under Use TLS:
      • Make sure Use TLS 1.0 and Use TLS 1.1 are unchecked.
      • Make sure Use TLS 1.2 and Use TLS 1.3 (or Use TLS 1.3 (experimental)) are checked.
    • Select OK to save.
    • Restart Outlook and Microsoft Store and test again.
    1. If only Outlook still fails If Store starts working but Outlook/Microsoft 365 apps still report no internet or cannot activate/connect:
    • Update the network adapter driver (especially if on wired LAN).
    • If the wired connection shows “No Internet Access” while Wi‑Fi works, temporarily disable IPv4 Checksum Offload in the adapter’s Advanced properties as described in the Outlook connectivity article, then test Outlook again.

If the issue persists on this Insider build after these steps, it may be a preview-build regression; in that case, report it via Feedback Hub with logs so it can be investigated.
