having issues in verifying as student in microsoft azure

For the School email address field, enter the official email address provided by the college or university (for example, the address that ends with the institution’s domain such as .edu, not a personal Gmail/Outlook address).

If there is already a personal Microsoft account (for example used for Xbox or Outlook.com), that account can be connected to the university email so it can be used for Azure for Students:

1. Go to the Microsoft account sign-in page and sign in with the existing Microsoft account.
2. On the ribbon, select Your info.
3. Select Manage how you sign in to Microsoft.
4. Verify identity when prompted.
5. Select Add email and add the university/college email address.

After this, sign up for Azure for Students using that same Microsoft account and the added school email address as the academic verification email.

If the page still shows “You do not have access” after using the correct school email, use the Contact support link on that page so the support team can check the account and verification status.
