Lost admin role on azure tenant, unable to sign in.

I've had an azure account for about 10 years. We decided to move to office 365, but my azure account address couldn't be used as my email address so i couldn't get any password resets. Managed to free up my email address from azure account, but now I've lost access to azure using that account. It says it doesn't exist.

I can't figure out how to even raise a support ticket for this.

Based on the details you’ve shared, this appears to be a tenant lockout scenario.

To resolve this, the recommended approach is to contact the Microsoft Data Protection team. You can reach them by calling Microsoft Customer Service using the phone numbers listed here: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support.

If you have access to another tenant or subscription where you still have Global Administrator privileges, you may also raise a support request from there to get assistance in restoring access to the affected tenant.

I phoned the number and got kicked off, I logged into azure as ******@celtictuning.co.uk, clicked raise support ticket and just get given a link the azure community to ask the question. I am unable to speak to anybody about this, I even tried signing up for a support package got so far and got kicked out.

Any help appreciated.
