Should I have to logout then login after doing a search

Logging out and back in should not be required just because a search was performed.

If the site appears “stuck” in a search view or will not let the user exit the search to post a question, this is a site behavior issue rather than expected sign-in behavior. Similar access or navigation issues on Microsoft sites have been resolved by:

1. Signing out of all Microsoft accounts in the browser.
2. Clearing site data (cookies/cache) for the affected Microsoft site.
3. Signing in again and then navigating to the Q&A page to post the question.

This aligns with other reported issues where clearing browser data and re‑signing in restored normal access and navigation.
